My name is Roland "Bones" Jimenez, and my journey has been shaped by profound loss. I lost my youngest brother, Michael, to cancer in 1988; my second-eldest brother, Javier, to a sudden illness in 1991; my eldest brother, Arturo, in 2017; my beloved mother, Lucia, in 2024; and most recently, the man I admired most—my father, Stanley. Through grief, I discovered healing in nature, especially through hiking. Now, I'm committed to helping others do the same.
We’re thrilled to share that Come and Hike It is now an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit! This milestone opens the door for even greater impact but we can’t do it without you. Your donation helps us continue offering transformative hiking experiences to those navigating the heavy journey of grief. Every dollar helps someone find their footing again, surrounded by nature, community, and hope. If our mission speaks to your heart, please consider supporting our programs today. Together, we can help others heal, one step at a time.
