Hike to Happiness is a monthly meet-and-hike program designed to help individuals who have experienced the loss of a loved one find renewed peace and connection through nature. Tailored for those who have already begun their healing journey but are still seeking a deeper sense of healing and closure, each guided day hike offers an opportunity to enjoy light physical activity immersed in beautiful natural settings while building meaningful connections with others who understand the grief journey.
Each outing begins with a casual meet-and-greet and a short introduction on approaching the hike with mindfulness and intention. As the group walks together, participants are encouraged to engage in lighthearted conversations and reflect on the present moment. A mid-hike pause allows time for sharing stories, enjoying snacks, and participating in a short meditation. The experience wraps up with a relaxed group lunch, offering a final opportunity for connection, reflection, and a sense of shared peace.
